For partners without engineering teams (or websites), Parallel Markets can create and host a co-branded landing page called a “bridge site” to handle initiating accreditation or identity flows for individuals or businesses. For an example of this “No Code” solution, see the GHC Housing Partners bridge site.
Details
A bridge site is a custom, branded landing page with a Parallel Login button. If a partner needs to accredit an individual or business, the partner can send the user a link to the bridge site. Once the user completes the process, the partner will receive an email with the details of the user’s accreditation application. Parallel can send notification emails to as many recipients as the partner needs.
Optional Sunsetting
If a partner wants to eventually move to either the Overlay or full Server API Integration, the bridge site can be a strong interim solution. Bridge sites act as full OAuth Client, so people who click the button there will be prompted to consent to share information with the partner, and then their information is emailed to any list of email addresses specified by the partner. Then, when the partner’s integration is complete, the OAuth keys that were used on the bridge site are shared with the partner for usage on their production site, giving the partner API access to everyone who previously consented (and then the bridge site would be turned off).
